Posted On June 20, 2021
Rio 2020 is set to kick off on March 5, 2020, and it looks like it will be the last time the country will be hosting the World Cup.
The city of Rio de Janeiro will host the 2018 World Cup for the first time in 2019, with the event set to be hosted in the city.
The event will take place in the stadium of the Olympic Park, with some of the venues including the city’s stadium, the Maracana stadium, and the Copacabana.
The stadiums are set to host eight teams from the Americas and four from Europe.
The teams will compete in the first-ever Rugby World Cup, which is scheduled to take place from April 16 to 19.
Rio is set for a record-breaking year of hosting the Olympics.
The Games have been running since 1996, with Brazil winning four gold medals and the U.S. winning two.
The 2016 Olympics were held in Rio de Janiero, which was the first Olympic Games to be held in the country.
