Egyptian players to play for World Cup, ICC

EGYPT — Egypt is set to play the first game of the ICC World Cup for the third consecutive year.
The 2022 tournament, which kicks off on June 14 in Australia, will see Egypt play the U.S. at Sydney’s ANZ Stadium and the hosts Australia at the Adelaide Oval.
The ICC has confirmed that the 2022 tournament will be played in the city of Sydney and the players will play at the same time, as scheduled, at the ANZ stadium.
The tournament will start on June 15 in Melbourne.
The U.K. and Australia will play in the first two games, while Pakistan and South Africa will face off at the final on July 2.
There are currently 14 players on the IWC’s International List.
Egypt’s players will be selected at the end of June and the IIC will determine their final places based on their performances in this summer’s World Cup.
