The US women’s national team will play their first home match of the FIFA U20 World Cup, against China on July 10, 2017 in Seattle.
The match is scheduled to kick off at 3:00pm ET and will be televised on ESPN.
The US will play two games against the defending champions of the U20 Women’s World Cup in Germany and France, which will be broadcast on ESPN2.
There will be a special broadcast for the US national team’s debut against China in the quarterfinals on July 11 in Seattle, which is scheduled for 3:30pm ET.
The US women will also be playing their first games in Russia, the host nation for the 2019 World Cup.
“We have been working closely with the US Soccer Federation to ensure that we are able to ensure the best possible preparation for the game against China,” US Soccer federation chief of staff Dave Sarachan said in a statement.
While Sarachans statement doesn’t explicitly mention the U.S. women, it does mention the importance of having a good pre-game warm-up.
It should also be noted that the US women were only invited to play against China because the federation’s international scouting and medical department found that the women were not fit enough for the tournament.
So while it may be a little early for the first home game of the tournament, the US will be ready to play, regardless.
